Join Oliver as he chills with legendary children's entertainer Sharon Hampson and her delightful daughter Randi! Sharon first rose to fame over 45 years ago as one-third of the acclaimed musical group 'Sharon, Lois & Bram'. This beloved trio delighted audiences of all ages for decades and garnered many impressive accolades along the way. From performing at the White House and the UN General Assembly in the 1990's, to becoming members of the Order of Canada and being awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002! In more recent years, Randi has joined her mother on stage to belt out all of the classics and help keep the group's legacy alive (in more ways than one).
The conversation starts off with Sharon detailing how she first met Lois & Bram, and the experience of recording their very successful debut album 'One Elephant, Deux Éléphants'. This leads to talk about the unforgettable tune 'Skinnamarink' and the impact that their iconic television program 'The Elephant Show' had on viewers around the world. The chat then delves into the group's massive, multi-generational fanbase and the wide variety of individuals that are still so deeply moved by their performances. Oliver learns about the decision to continue on after founding member Lois Lilienstein decided to step away in the year 2000 (Lois sadly passed away in 2015). Randi discusses her many substantial contributions (past and present), including launching a line of children's books inspired by some of the group's most recognizable songs! The podcast also touches on Mr. Dressup, performing at Strombo's house and much more in this magical episode!

Join Oliver for the season 5 premiere, with comedian, podcaster and writer Chad Noonan in the guest chair! Though he's only a few years into performing comedy, Chad is a hilarious and commanding presence on stage who shows no signs of slowing down. He also hosts the Canadian Comedy Hall of Fame Podcast, which boasts amazing past guests like Jim Belushi, Kenny Hotz, Steph Tolev, Ron James and so many more!
Things kick off with Chad describing his Brockville roots and some of his past careers, leading to an interesting tale about manifesting his dream job at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Oliver learns how Chad first got into podcasting, which would ultimately lead him toward life as a stand up comedian. Chad then reflects on recently winning the CBC/Just For Laughs 'Comedy Pitch Program' in 2022, as co-writer of a television series proposal titled 'Nine Months To Die'. The conversation also touches on divorce, The Price Is Right, weird stuff Oliver found in his ceiling and much more!

Join Oliver as he chills with funnyman Cesar Makhoul for the season 4 finale episode of #JustChillwithOliverGeorge! One of the most beloved performers in the Ottawa comedy scene, Cesar's onstage presence appears effortlessly witty and undeniably genuine. He is also the co-host of the 'Lebanese Weight Watchers' podcast, alongside the hilariously irreverent George Assily.
The conversation starts off with Cesar breaking down his creative process and sharing some thoughts on what it's like to work at a comedy club. Oliver learns about Cesar's Lebanese roots and what makes a perfect shawarma. Some interesting news stories are presented for discussion, followed by a some fun, random questions. These two podcasters even discover that they share the same horrible boss from a past job!

Join Oliver as he chills with the remarkable Rick Campanelli, who makes his triumphant return to the podcast! Rick is easily one of the most recognizable Canadian television and radio personalities of all time, delighting audiences for decades with his undeniable charisma. His prowess as an interviewer and vast knowledge of pop culture were always on full display during his vocation as both a beloved MuchMusic VJ and host of Entertainment Tonight Canada.
The convo kicks off with talk about the brand new documentary '299 Queen Street West' by director Sean Menard. The film weaves together tons of archival footage to chronicle the magical history behind MuchMusic and the people that made it so special. A cross-Canada tour is about to begin, which will also feature live discussions with iconic VJs (including Rick) after each screening! Later on, Oliver learns Rick's secret to looking eternally youthful and why family values are so important to him. He also shares memories of some of his favourite celebrity encounters throughout his career, and sheds light on what it was like being a part of the ill-fated Woodstock '99 Festival. Join Oliver as he chills with actor, comedian, dancer, musician, singer and all-around creative dynamo Glenys Marshall! A captivating individual and master of improv, Glenys also has a deep appreciation for collaboration and fostering inclusive communities within the arts. Earlier this year she began co-producing a very successful local variety show called 'Small Fish', which aims to promote a welcoming environment while highlighting performers from marginalized groups within society.
After performing on many of the same musical comedy shows, Glenys and Oliver finally got to sit down and podcast together! Early on in the chat, they reflect on their gratitude for having such supportive parents. With Glenys noting that many of her artistic curiosities were sparked by gifts that she received from her folks. This leads to Oliver learning quite a bit about a wonderfully unique and radical musical instrument...the keytar! The discussion later delves into talk about queer culture and the constantly evolving nature of language, before shifting to talk about fashion, Dungeons & Dragons, impersonating accents and much more!

Join Oliver as he chills with phenomenal photographer (and old friend) Peter Andrew Lusztyk! A true visionary and innovative artist, Peter's work has been featured in many notable publications like Esquire, National Geographic and Wired Magazine (among others). You may have spotted his work adorning the sets of televisions shows like 'Suits' or the Matt Damon film 'Downsizing'. With new projects always on the rise, this award-winning shutterbug's career shows no signs of slowing down.
Peter first made his debut on Just Chill all the way back in episode 14, so there was plenty to catch up on... Especially since his original appearance was recorded right before the onset of the pandemic! Oliver learns about Peter's various struggles during that time, and how he was ultimately able to triumph over them. Things turn nostalgic as the conversation gets into childhood neighbourhoods and high school house parties gone awry. Peter later shares some travel tales and reflects on his experience collaborating with colleague Peter McKinnon. The podcast also gets into Canadiana, LEGO, Rolexes, working with Matty Matheson and more!

Join Oliver as he chills with author and former television personality Morgan O. Smith! You may recognize him as 'Mista Mo', one half of the Gemini award-winning comedic duo behind The Comedy Network's 'Buzz'. Since that show's ending in the mid-aughts, Morgan has shifted his focus to a life of growth and enlightenment. In addition to his frequent non-profit work with communities and youth, Morgan has also developed a fascinating meditative process that utilizes binaural beats and brainwave entrainment to reach higher levels of consciousness, clarity and inner peace. He's dubbed this practice 'Yinnergy' and describes it in detail within the pages of his new book 'Bodhi In The Brain'.
Things kick off with Morgan talking about his roots in comedy, leading to chat about what is was like co-starring on a television show for so many years (alongside his collaborator and friend Daryn Jones). Oliver then learns about the complete pivot in Mo's life and some of the psychedelic awakenings that lead to those drastic changes. Morgan shares a wealth of knowledge about nondualism, while also recounting many incredible experiences he's had that have changed the way he perceives reality completely.

Join Oliver as he chills with the king of crowd work himself, comedian Jeff Leeson! His remarkable performances combine long-form improv and major audience interaction, creating hilariously unique shows every time that he's on stage. Jeff has two specials on Amazon Prime, a Dry Bar Comedy special and a new special on YouTube titled 'I'm Sorry I'm Not Kevin Hart'.
The podcast kicks off with Jeff describing what is was like first trying standup in his early teens, and how his mother was such an integral part of his budding comedy career. Oliver then learns about a public speaking disqualification that still haunts Jeff to this day. Conversation shifts to discovering his comedic style and why he was born to tour as a road comic. Later on, Jeff has everyone in stiches as he recalls a time that he got extremely lost, as well as an intense schoolyard fight that he was roped into as a youth. All this and a heck of a lot more in this wonderfully robust chat!

An exceptional host, Johnny always does a fantastic job on his own program (appropriately titled 'The Johnny Rogers Show'). He has interviewed a wide variety of interesting, entertaining and notable individuals, always building a sincere rapport with his guests in the process. His YouTube channel also boasts a ton of other great stuff, including Johnny's full-length rap album 'Undeniably Dope!
Things kick off with talk about collaborative podcasting, which later leads into discussion regarding etiquette and technique as an interviewer. Johnny describes his experience starting comedy over 12 years ago and how relocating to a new city was pivotal for him. Oliver learns about Johnny's vast experience reporting on pop culture, entertainment and other news stories. Including a recent instance where Netflix utilized a video clip of him for a documentary, neglecting to credit him and taking the footage completely out of context! All this and so much more in this splendid conversation.
