Join Oliver as he chills with skilled folk-rock singer/songwriter Matty McKechnie! Performing under the artist name 'Graven', he has a put out a whopping 15 major releases to date and also toured Canada three times over. His most recent album 'Simple Complex' is a collection of heartfelt tunes showcasing his beautiful lyricism, which was mixed by Juno Award winner Joel Plaskett! Matty also hosts a podcast called 'Graventown' which radiates with warmth and has featured an array of impressive guests.
This lengthy conversation is tangent-heavy and covers quite a lot of ground! Things start off with Matty explaining the origin of his Graven moniker and discussing how he got his start in music. Which leads to chatting about a myriad of different musical topics and artists. From hip-hop to country and just about everything in between, this episode is a great one for music lovers! Join Oliver as he chills with Irish comedian Fiona O'Brien! Since relocating with her family to Canada in 2012, Fiona has been harnessing her craft to become the endlessly entertaining comic that she is today. She has performed at noteworthy events like the Halifax Comedy Festival and had her work featured on networks like CBC and Sirius XM. Fiona's humour has also garnered her a very impressive following on TikTok and her hilarious album 'Magically Malicious' is available now!
This episode kicks off with Fiona describing her experience emigrating to the Great White North, and how that (coupled with a divorce) ultimately lead her to pursue getting into standup. Oliver gets in touch with his Irish roots, as Fiona explains the origins of St. Paddy's Day and fields a bunch of other inquiries about the Emerald Isle. In addition to their Irish connection, Fiona and Oliver bond over the often confusing, sometimes frustrating process of raising teenagers. Later on, Fiona recounts the time that she met Adam Sandler and also shares a wild story about almost dying on her way to perform comedy at a swingers club!

Join Oliver as he chills with award-winning comedian and burgeoning Hollywood star Dave Merheje! An exceptional standup comic, Dave's work has been featured by CBC, MTV, NBC, Netflix and more. His special 'Good Friend Bad Grammar' won the 2019 JUNO Award for 'Comedy Album of the Year' and he recently released another hysterically funny offering entitled 'I Love You Habibi'. Dave's comedic prowess has also lead to an impressive list of acting accomplishments that continues to grow. In addition to his key supporting part on the Golden Globe-winning series 'Ramy', Dave's first starring role in a feature film just made it's debut at the Sundance Film Festival!

With a career in comedy that spans over a decade, Bobby's hilarious standup album 'Rock Bottom' can be found wherever you get your audio enjoyment. Recently, Bobby has taken a felt-friend under his wing after Andre the Alien crash landed in his backyard during the pandemic. Since turning up on Earth, Andre now periodically hosts a live, late night talk show called 'That's Comedy'. He even briefly fills in for Oliver at the beginning of this episode!
