Join Oliver as he chills with the extremely interesting and multitalented Mitchell Smolkin! In addition to being a well respected psychotherapist with a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology, Mitchell is also an accomplished speaker, author, actor and musician! He has built a successful international psychotherapy practice with offices in both Toronto and Sweden, and has also recently launched a fantastic podcast titled 'The Dignity of Suffering'.
Appearing from his office in Stockholm, the conversation kicks off with Mitchell explaining what it has been like living there during the pandemic. Watching the majority of the planet go into lockdown, while the Swedish government decided to take a very different approach to dealing with the situation. This leads to discussion about the effect that Covid has had on human relationships at large. Oliver shares a story about recently confronting a very uncomfortable situation and Mitchell explains what first drove him to want to help people. The chat then delves into Mitchell's many artistic exploits and he shares insight into why he decided to start his new podcast. Things finish off with some talk about craft beer, followed by an absolutely moving and beautiful story from Mitchell's past.

On this date 25 years ago, Sublime performed for the last time ever at the Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, California. The following morning, the world tragically lost the band's innovative and soulful frontman Bradley Nowell to a heroin overdose. Join Oliver as he chills with Brad's younger sister Kellie, who in recent years has been working tirelessly as the executive director of the The Nowell Family Foundation! Providing addiction recovery services to musicians, the foundation is currently raising funds to open an opioid recovery facility in Brad's memory called 'Bradley's House'! Please donate if you can!!
This episode is a dream come true for Oliver, who has been a Sublime fanatic since his youth. Acquaintances for over a decade, Oliver and Kellie finally have a real hangout and become fast friends! Things start off with talk about the foundation and all of the fantastic things it has spawned. Including the recent, dynamite tribute album titled 'The House That Bradley Built'! Featuring a ton of amazing artists, the proceeds will go towards all of the foundation's spectacular efforts! Kellie then discusses the 'Bradley's House' podcast, which she co-hosts and is a must-hear for any Sublime fan!
Kellie shares fantastic stories about Bradley, Lou Dog, and Sublime, leaving Oliver completely elated in the process. She also expresses how profoundly difficult it was to lose her brother to addiction, and how her work with the foundation has helped her in processing that grief. Kellie then answers some of Oliver's burning questions, as well as some fan inquiries from Reddit!

Well known globally as one half of the esteemed comedy duo 'Cheech & Chong', Tommy also won over audiences as the loveable hippie 'Leo' on 'That 70's Show'. Throughout his adult life, Tommy has been a staunch proponent of marijuana rights activism and now owns his very own company called 'Tommy Chong's Cannabis'.
This episode starts off with discussion about the shift in public opinion regarding cannabis in recent years and how pot has finally gone mainstream. They both work for the Ottawa Carleton District School Board as middle school teachers, in addition to being parents themselves. Karin is an English literacy development teacher who has helped refugee children overcome huge language barriers. Shane's main focus is teaching English and math as well as coaching basketball, touch football and more.
Things kick off with Karin and Shane describing their beginnings in education and talking about how they came to be a couple. The conversation then shifts to talk about how schools have been trying to adapt during the pandemic. Oliver asks what it has been like adjusting to teaching virtually, especially while their own kids are simultaneously online as students. This leads to discussion about the importance of mental health awareness and proper working conditions.

Featuring relatable VJs from across the country and a heavy focus on independent Canadian artists, the channel's Indigogo campaign is well on it's way to reaching it's funding goal! Oliver learns all about Ed's plans for NewMusicNation, and inquires about the possibility of former MuchMusic VJs making guest appearances. Ed then shares memories of some of his favourite interviewees, which leads to a great chat about superhero films.

Big Trick Energy will be premiering April 22nd on truTV and Oliver had the chance to snag a quick press junket interview with the bad boys of magic. A trailer for their show is even included in this episode!
To start things off, Oliver learns the history behind the group's long time friendship and inquires about the challenges of filming a series during the pandemic. The quartet discuss which ninja turtle they're most like, and ponder about possible future Big Trick Energy guest stars. Oliver finds out about the show's inception as well as the intricate network of pranks that were ever present on set.

He has hosted film festivals, comedy shows and concerts and also has experience as a journalist. David was also a member of beloved Canadian sketch comedy troupe 'The Imponderables' for 12 years, performing at Just For Laughs and winning five Canadian comedy awards!
The episode kicks off with talk about the upcoming 'Crack Up Comedy Festival', which boasts a killer lineup that includes David. The discussion then shifts to 'Bill & Sons Towing', a fantastic web series that starred David and his sketch comedy comrades.
